Elizabeth Scott serves as the 2026 church mission intern at Canton Baptist Temple and as a SENT Inc. approved missionary preparing for ministry in Aix-en-Provence, France. She surrendered to missions in November 2024 after sensing God’s clear direction toward cross‑cultural ministry. Since then, she has completed her Master of Arts in Applied Ministry from Liberty University, building a strong foundation for ministry. Liz is passionate about teaching God’s Word, children’s ministry, discipleship, and helping others understand Scripture.
She will be serving alongside home‑sent missionaries Jonathan and Priscilla Laase, assisting the church in children’s ministry, women’s ministry, social media, and evangelism. Jonathan Laase is a second-generation missionary in France. Liz currently serves within the church as a fifth‑grade Sunday school teacher, summer children’s ministry, discipleship, Sunday morning worship playing the guitar, and behind‑the‑scenes ministry. Her desire is to invest in people in a way that leads to lasting spiritual growth and multiplication. Liz will begin deputation in January 2027 and is grateful for the mentorship and support of her church family as she prepares for long-term missions, following God’s calling to France.
